Nestled among bamboo and other greenery in the western end of Kyoto, Dream At is a quiet and relaxing spot to take a short break and cool down from the heat between visiting crowded attractions nearby. Founded by Furoan and former businessman, Ryoichi Hayakawa, this hidden space is not well known by many foreigner’s as Hayakawa's small kaiseki home has only been featured in French Vogue. For a steep entrance fee of ¥3000, sightseers can view Hayakawa's collection of Japanese and international art in these cool rooms while drinking cold tea and eating wasabi-mochi.
